Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of Pack for My Trip (the "Service"), a website operated by Imagination Riser LLC, a California limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are 18 or older and able to agree to these Terms. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

What Pack for My Trip does

Pack for My Trip makes packing lists from the trip details you enter. Lists may be generated by artificial intelligence and are general suggestions only. They may be incomplete or wrong for your trip, and you are responsible for deciding what to bring.

Pack for My Trip does not give travel, legal, immigration, medical, or veterinary advice. Before you travel, check your airline's baggage and security rules, your destination's entry, visa, and customs requirements, and the current weather forecast. Pet items are packing suggestions only; ask your veterinarian about your pet's needs.

Weather estimates

Weather shown in the planner is an estimate based on long-term climate averages, not a forecast. Actual conditions can be very different.

Saved trips and links

Saved trips and checklist progress are stored only in your browser on this device. They are lost if you clear your browser data, and we cannot recover them. Each trip has a link that contains your trip details, so anyone you share it with can see them.

Affiliate links

Gear suggestions link to Amazon. Some links are affiliate links: as an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through them, at no extra cost to you. Suggestions are chosen from your trip details, not by who pays us. Prices and availability are set by the retailer.

Data credits

Destination data comes from GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Climate data comes from the NASA Langley Research Center POWER Project. These sources do not endorse Pack for My Trip.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent;
  • scrape, copy, or collect content from the Service by automated means, or use it to build a competing product;
  • interfere with the Service, bypass usage limits or security measures, or send requests faster than a person reasonably could;
  • enter personal information about other people beyond what the Service asks for.

To keep the Service fast and affordable, we may limit how often it can be used and may block access that violates these Terms.

Our content

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Imagination Riser LLC or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the results the Service gives you for your own personal purposes, including sharing them with friends and family. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Third-party sites

The Service links to websites we do not own or control, such as retailers. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, products, prices, availability, or practices, and any purchase you make there is between you and that seller.

Changes to the Service

The Service is free. We may change, suspend, or stop any part of it at any time, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMAGINATION RISER LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless Imagination Riser LLC from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new Terms.

General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
